IT’S GREAT TO MEET YOU

I’m Joel and I have been a Yorkshire wedding photographer for more than 12 years.

I’m married to my incredible wife Sophie and we have three awesome children – Mia, Seb and Harper, plus our gorgeous fox-red Labrador Jessie. Life is rarely dull, always busy, and brings something new every day.

I love funky house music, have been known bring my decks along at parties (I even DJ’d for an hour at my own wedding!) and get wrapped up in house renovations when I get a break – isn’t it amazing what you can teach yourself on YouTube?!

I also love weddings – so much so that Sophie & I got married twice; an intimate UK ceremony followed by a beautiful, romantic destination wedding in Spain.

The Moments We Remember for a Lifetime

THE FEELING

Looking back through our own wedding album and watching our film takes us straight back to our wedding day; the scent of olive trees, the heat of the sun rising over the mountains, crickets in the background. It’s magical, and this is what I bring to every wedding I shoot; the magic to re-live your day all over again, years later.

I want you to remember walking down the aisle, see the looks on your guests’ faces as they throw confetti, hear the laughter at the speeches – I want to capture it all for you.

“Joel’s photos show the genuine happiness we felt on the day and capture the enjoyment of every single guest. We’re so grateful to have these special memories to look back on forever.”

LET'S TEAM UP

There are so many exciting things happening during your wedding day and it’s my job to capture the important images for you.

And that’s what I do – we’ll have fun along the way, but I’ll have my eyes on the camera and on what’s taking place around me, watching for emotional moments and making sure I’m in the right place to get the best shot.

And if you do need a little guidance, I’ll be there to help and offer advice when you need it.

This is how I create the perfect mix of natural, candid photographs as well as your effortlessly chic portrait shots. Photos that you might not believe are you, but most definitely are.
