I love shooting at Tithe Barn; it’s such a romantic setting for authentic wedding photography in Yorkshire. Tithe Barn was built in the 16th Century and is set within the magical grounds of the Duke of Devonshire’s Bolton Abbey estate. The Barn is Grade II* listed and is one of the largest exclusive-use wedding venues in the UK.

Being a Tithe Barn wedding photographer is always fun; the venue is built with a party vibe and the split flagstone floor and fairy lights that wind around the traditional beams add to the feeling. Food is at the forefront for all of the Cripps venues, Tithe Barn is no exception – feasts are flame-grilled on a huge indoor BBQ and French rotisseries.

Fran and Jordan’s wedding was exceptional; a huge celebration of everything important to them with a party atmosphere all day long. Their Ceremony in Tithe Barn was emotional and moving; then the drinks flowed outside in the gardens whilst the couple and I went for a portrait session in the grounds.
