Best Wedding Photography in Yorkshire
Well… what a year 2019 was!
I literally feel like it has been a ‘blink & you miss it’ kind of year – there have been so many wonderful memories & moments captured; it feels like a bit of a blur!
Not only has it been one of our busiest years to date as a business; we also saw our daughter Mia move into double figures as well as the birth of our son Seb. We always knew he’d turn our world upside down; but it’s been the best adventure for Team JSP yet!
Our clients get better & better every year – 2019 was definitely no exception. I honestly could not have asked for a better group of people to work with; so my first thank you has to go to all of our wonderful couples who have climbed over fences, danced in the dark, and run out in the rain to capture the most perfect of moments.
I’ve discovered some amazing new venues this year too; all in different styles – the grandeur of Dorfold Hall in Cheshire, new barn venues Woodstock, The Normans, Yorkshire Wedding Barn & the Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey with all the twinkly lights you could wish for; Wharfedale Grange with all it’s funky styling plus the industrial delights of The Arches at Dean Clough – it’s been a mega year for exploring new angles & scenery, always trying to push the images a little further & deliver something that’s super special for everyone.
As well as new venues, I’ve also had the pleasure of spending more time in my favourite places too – Middleton Lodge, Allerton Castle, Rudding Park, Denton Hall, Wood Hall, The Mansion, Oulton Hall & Goldsborough Hall just to name a few. The teams behind the weddings in these beautiful venues are so welcoming & helpful; it’s such a pleasure to shoot there & I’m always thrilled to see enquiries pop up from these venues time & time again. So many of these new contacts come from the wedding teams recommending me which is such a privilege.
I’ve got an exciting year to look forward to as well; I’ve already shot my first 2020 wedding at the always-stunning (even in the pouring rain!) Swinton Park; I’m heading off to Ibiza in the summer for what I know is going to be an incredible White Isle beach wedding; I’m heading up to Scotland, across to Cheshire, and hopefully down to Hereford too!
