Rosie and Nick

I still remember when Rosie first emailed me and said that they were getting married in Easby Abbey – not at the church, but inside the Abbey. It’s a place that is really special to me personally so to be able to capture a wedding within the ruins was just incredible. Rosie & Nick put their wedding together perfectly & told me my most very favourite wedding superstition – that to avoid rain on your wedding day you should bury a sausage in your garden the day before! Now I wouldn’t say it worked 100% but by some miracle after a morning of heavy rain the sun suddenly appeared just as Rosie arrived for the ceremony & it stayed dry so they could ride open-topped back to Middleton Lodge for their reception too!
