  • The Fig House with N&H 🤍One of those days that felt completely effortless from beginning to end. Beautiful details, black tie, summer light through the gardens and a couple who were an absolute joy to photograph.There’s something very special about returning to a venue I know so well. Knowing where the light will fall, where to disappear for five minutes of portraits, how the day flows and when to simply step back and let everything happen.   • Some wedding days are just an absolute joy from beginning to end; this was definitely one of them.Barns & Yard at Hanley Hall is gorgeous; I would very happily come back here again and again. It’s such a beautiful place to photograph, but more than that, the team are incredible. Thoughtful, welcoming, endlessly accommodating and genuinely lovely to work alongside; I was looked after all day and it makes such a difference when everyone behind the scenes cares this much about giving a couple the best possible day.And these two… ❤️ Gorgeous, completely natural together and ridiculously happy. They threw themselves into every part of the day, surrounded by their favourite people, and you could just feel how much fun they were having.Exactly the kind of wedding I love to photograph; relaxed, full of personality and completely centred around enjoying the day rather than performing for the camera.   • The Main House, Middleton LodgeTwo ceremonies, one very beautiful day for S&S - beginning in the Main Hall before heading outside for their second ceremony in the gardens. Every part of it had been considered so beautifully, from the details and styling to the way the day itself unfolded, but what I loved most was how completely them it all felt.Middleton Lodge is one of those venues I’ll never tire of photographing. I know the Main House and grounds incredibly well, I know how the light moves through the spaces, where we can quietly disappear for ten minutes of portraits without taking you away from your guests for half the afternoon and, just as importantly, I know and genuinely love working alongside the brilliant team there.My approach has always been about giving you enough guidance to create beautiful, editorial imagery while leaving plenty of space for the real stuff to happen.
