  • Flowers absolutely everywhere, in the best possible way. H&A’s gorgeous summer wedding at The Orangery at Settrington was full of beautiful details, from the incredible flowers at the church to the wedding breakfast dressed with the most wonderful arrangements & that incredible hand painted cake! But amongst all that prettiness, it’s the little moments between the two of them that I love most. So much happiness throughout the day, right through to the dance floor.   • Some of my favourite spots at wedding venues are the ones you might walk straight past. Rudding Park has so many beautiful spaces, but on this particular afternoon it was the kitchen garden that caught my eye. The autumn sun was getting low, the light was gorgeous, and B&R had a few quiet minutes to wander together. One of the lovely things about having photographed weddings for so many years is getting to know how venues work, understanding the light and knowing how to make the most of every opportunity without interrupting the natural flow of the day. But even at places I know really well, I still love looking for something different. A new angle, a different bit of light, or somewhere we haven’t explored before. And the best part? My couples don’t need to think about any of that. They can just enjoy their wedding, be completely themselves and trust me to take care of the rest.   • No timelines to chase, no expectations to meet, just the freedom to create, experiment and see where the ideas take us. Today at the incredible Gosford House with @modernluxeclub was all about just that. There’s something so refreshing about working alongside such talented creatives, having the space to push boundaries, play unapologetically and explore ideas without the usual pressures and constraints of a real wedding day. And that’s what makes days like this so valuable. It’s not just about creating beautiful imagery. It’s about challenging the way we think, refining our skills and bringing fresh ideas and inspiration back into real weddings, where creativity has to work alongside all the beautiful chaos of the day. A day of creative freedom, collaboration and so much inspiration. Exactly what was needed.   • R&H in Sorrento A beautiful afternoon wandering through Sorrento followed by the most incredible celebration at Villa Antiche Mura. The light was gorgeous, the views were ridiculous and these two were just so gorgeous to photograph. But I think my favourite thing about this wedding was the atmosphere. Everyone was having such a brilliant time, and you can really feel it in the photographs.   • Give me the grain, the softness and the little imperfections. Every time. There’s something about 35mm film that I absolutely love.   • If you’re going to travel across the Atlantic to get married you want to choose somewhere extraordinary. K&L chose Castle Howard; and what a beautiful day they made of it. The grandest of rooms, flowers spilling down the staircase, an incredible setting for their ceremony and gorgeous afternoon sunshine in the gardens. There was so much thought behind every detail and I absolutely loved photographing it all. But my favourite thing about days like this is finding those quieter, more personal moments amongst all the grandeur. The happy tears, the little looks between two people, a few minutes away from everyone else just enjoying being married. A gorgeous celebration and a wonderful couple. Thank you for having me.
