So when Lucy & Dan asked me to fly out to Italy with them to shoot their wedding at the incredible Villa Antiche Mura; I didn’t have to think twice. What a beautiful location, a gorgeous couple and a cracking day all round.
Lucy and Dan made me feel so welcome as part of their day; they had invited me out for drinks to meet their friends and family the night before (see their earlier pre-wedding shoot here); so it was lovely & relaxed throughout the whole day; from spending the morning with the girls as they were getting ready, to the Ceremony and throughout the day afterwards.
We had all been carefully watching the weather report in the weeks leading up to the wedding as after a spell of beautifully warm and sunny weather; there were storms forecast for Lucy & Dan’s wedding day! The morning was very, very wet – but we had enough breaks of warm sunshine throughout the day that the weather didn’t cause us any problems – well; at least the big storm that started rolling in during their Ceremony held off long enough for us!
